Service

Send service header as task

When this value is enabled, service headers will be sent as both jobs and tasks to Dime.Scheduler. You can then plan the service order instead of the individual service item lines. In contrast, when it is disabled, service headers will be sent as a jobs and its corresponding service item lines as tasks. You can then plan the individual service item lines.

Send lines with service header

When enabled, the service item lines are sent with the service header every time the service header is sent to Dime.Scheduler. Otherwise the service item lines need to be sent separately.

Default duration service line

Sets the default length in time for a task that originates from the service module. When the task is initially planned in Dime.Scheduler, the appointment is created with this duration. If a vertical or customer solution has the ability to calculate or specify the expected or estimated duration of a task, then this value can be sent on an individual line basis.

Default service category

In Default category, you select which field from NAV you want to use to set the color of a planned task when you drag and drop a task from open tasks to a resource on the planning board. Simply choose between service order type, repair status (from service item line) and service zone. Leave blank to use the default color (blue).

Default time marker

In Default time marker, you select which field from NAV you want to use to set the color of the time marker on a planned task when you drag & drop a task from open tasks to a resource on the planning board. Choose between service order type, repair status (from service item line) and service zone. Leave blank to avoid the use of time markers.

Show repair status as

In Show Repair status as you select how to update the planned task(s) in Dime.Scheduler when the repair status on the service item line in NAV is modified. You can choose to update the category (color) or the time marker. It makes sense to align this with the settings for default category and default time marker although this is not necessary. For example, you can select service order type as the default category and then select the category to be updated when the repair status changes. This means that as long as the repair status hasn't changed, the color will show the order type. Once the repair status has changed, the color will also be changed.

Update time sheet from the planning board

Enable to automatically create or update the time sheet of the resource in NAV whenever a task is allocated to a resource or when a planned task is modified in Dime.Scheduler.
